Having said that this process is easy, please note that installing TED involves opening up your electrical box. Turns out, not everybody is supposed to go into their electrical box. If your city or state codes require that only a licensed electrician has access, you can still watch the video, but, alas, you shouldn't try this at home. If you have any concern about working around electricity, call an electrician. But take heart, it will take a pro no more than 10 minutes to set up TED, and you will be on your way to smarter living.
