Quiet? Dag. That's amazing.
For the past few months we have been testing products to see if they meet our (admittedly stingy) standards for inclusion in the Energy Circle line up. Panasonic Whisper fans not only made the grade... they blew us away. They are by far the best in class ventilation fans on the market, not only because they are outrageously quiet, but also because they provide steady ventilation with such low wattage that it makes sense - in fact - we'd argue it's a very good idea - to keep them running all the time.
Whoa. Are we suggesting that you use a bathroom fan to ventilate your whole house?
Um... yea.
Panasonic fans come in a wide array of sizes, from 50 cfm (cubic feet per minute) to nearly 400. Small fans use 13watts - fewer than your average CFL bulb, and all meet ASHRAE 62.2 requirements (that's an obscure standard from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, but it's becoming increasingly important - check back with us for updates).
We know that moving air feels about 4 degrees cooler than sitting air, and we know that the little leak under your door doesn't constitute ventilation - not really. The powerful Panasonic fan could be cooling the air in your house... all the time, very quietly, while costing you pennies.
Check out our video on Panasonic WhisperFans, and hear the quiet for yourself. Extra bonus points... buy one ... and be cool.
By the way, we carry a ton of fans in the Panasonic Whisper Fan Series - including the Whisper Wall, Whisper Ceiling, Whisper Lite, Whisper Fit, Whisper Fit Lite, and Whisper Green - with a wide range of CFM ratings within each category.
