We're thrilled to announce that today is our first full day at the new Energy Circle headquarters in the historic Sparhawk Mill in Yarmouth, Maine. While we adored our previous space (a renovated post-and-beam barn in neighboring South Freeport, ME), we're certainly not complaining about the fact that we had simply outgrown it, and needed a bigger and more accommodating space.
Plus, the new office is amazing. I, personally, have admired the building since I first saw it in 2008 (I did some light carpentry here when working as a construction laborer after college and thought it was the coolest office building I'd ever seen.)
Check out some of the photos we just snapped over lunch:
Feel free to stop by whenever you're in the area -- we're right off Route 1, just 20 minutes north of Portland and about five minutes south of Freeport (famed home of L.L. Bean). (Just be sure to bring your fly rod!)

Wow! Congratulations Peter. I am so jealous and you know why.
Posted by ijustinj on Aug 8, 2011 4:24pmThanks Justin. Not 8000 feet in the Rockies but pretty damn nice. And though these pics make it look like we're in the middle of nowhere, the village of Yarmouth is walking distance, my house 4 miles, Portland about 15 minutes.

Posted by Kathryn Stevens on Aug 10, 2011 9:27amLisa, thanks for the pics. I could see me now, feet in the water while eating a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich. Simplicity is the key to life!
