Quick Overview

Know how healthy your home is. The Aube Technologies TE 513 Thermo-hygro Thermometer/Hygrometer tracks both temperature and relative humidity. Crucial data for healthy living.

Product Description

The Aube TE 513 Thermo-hygro Thermometer/Hygrometer displays both indoor temperature and relative humidity, enabling you to determine whether moisture may be an issue leading to mold or mildew, or dry air warrants a humidifier. Readings can be in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, with an accuracy of +/- 0.9 degrees for temperature and 5% for relative humidity (between 20% and 60% relative humidity; outside those parameters accuracy is within 10%). This clever gadget will also retain low temperature and high humidity readings in memory. The ThermoHygro Thermometer is designed for regular household use, where the relative humidity is between 25% and 60%. It can either be mounted on a wall or set on a table.

I wasn't much interested in humidity until we started measuring it. This really triggered us to pay attention to ventilation & dehumidification.

This thing helps me understand whether it's moist in the basement and give me an idea of how many times I'll have to empty the dehumidifier bucket.

Knowing the temperature and relative humidity levels in your home is a critical piece of tackling your home energy use. This elegant, no frills little beauty sits on my desk in my moisture challenged home office (too dry in winter, too humid in summer) and guides me on humidification/dehumidification. It's battery run so you can take it and place it anywhere. (I've been using mine for 5 months without needing to change the battery). It either sits on a table or mounts to a wall.

An awesome device.
