Product Description

A very small item can make a very big difference. To save money and hot water, simply insert Evolve's ShowerStart Ladybug showerhead adapter between the shower-arm and your existing showerhead. When you turn on the shower, the ShowerStart Ladybug device will monitor the water temperature, waiting for it to reach bathing temperature, (95° F / 35° C). Rather than allow all that luxurious (and expensive) hot water to run down the drain, the Ladybug adapter activates conservation mode once the temperature is right, and slows the flow of water to a trickle until you are ready to begin your shower. Once you step in, the Ladybug releases a pitch-perfect flow of warm water for the duration of your shower. What joy! Not only have you eliminated the water and energy waste, but the sound of the trickle tells you that your shower’s ready. The water for your shower is now warm and waiting instead of warm and wasted. When you are ready, turn the valve on the showerhead, and enjoy every drop of your shower. After each shower the ShowerStart Ladybug device automatically resets.

I have three kids. In the morning, I turn on the shower and sometimes don't get in for a while because - "help me find my shirt" - and the shower used to run all the time. This adapter was so easy to install, and now I don't worry - the water switches off and waits until I'm ready to get in. I can't imagine how much money and water it's saved. One thing- if you have kids, remind them that the water will be hot when they pull the cord - just like it would if it had been running -
