It delivers three levels of light on demand, and use a fraction of the electricity its incandescent ancestor would require to do it. At its lowest setting, the Twist uses just 13 watts of electricity, producing an amount of light that is roughly equivalent to a 30 watt incandescent light bulb (700 lumens). At the middle setting, it uses 20 watts of power, and produces light equivalent to a 70 watt incandescent light bulb (1,150 lumens). The Twist punches out at 25 watts of electricity to offer light equivalent to that an incandescent would take 100 watts to achieve (1,600 lumens).
