couldn't agree more with the reviews up here already, these are great high quality flashlights and just make me wonder - why haven't we been doing this all along? for something so small (but, when you need them, so important) crank-power makes tons of sense. plus the LEDs will last forever. plus you always know where they are because you just put the station on the wall. plus, plus, plus.
Posted by bill on Jul 7, 2009 6:27pmI bought this for my (elderly) parents, and they were surprisingly excited. I didn't know that as we get older, our eyes take longer to adjust to the dark. They immediately chose a place to put the flashlight center up where they could get to it easily. it was amazingly comforting to them - they were so grateful. I thought it was kind of cool, they treated the reliable flashlights as a kind of life -line. The whole system is solid - very sturdy, can tell it'll last a long time. Great great product.
