Quick Overview
The “High Def” CFL – The GE Reveal® CFL stacks up favorably against the best CFLs and rivals traditional incandescent light bulbs, providing superior light quality for home and office environments.
Product Description
Reveal® is GE’s line of super-premium lighting products – treated with a special phosphor coating this CFL provides a crisper, sharper light than traditional “warm white” bulbs but does not create the glare of day-light simulating or cool white bulbs. This exceptional CFL's light brings out more vivid colors in your home or office, making subtle patterns and shades more visible, and does not suffer from any of the flickering or green/yellowish tinting that early CFL are infamous for.
The GE Reveal® CFL is available in four sizes(10w, 13w, 20w, 26w), providing an excellent replacement for the most common incandescent strengths (40w, 60w, 75w, 100w). Consult the chart below for more detail.

GE Reveal® CFLs are not suitable for enclosed fixtures, exit lights, or outdoor application. CFLs should NEVER be used in conjunction with a dimmer unless they are specifically designed to dim (these are not). This lamp does contain mercury and should be recycled with care. The GE Reveal fits most fixtures, but like most spiral shaped CFLs should not have anything attached to the tube (lamp shades). Energy Circle does not ship light bulbs outside of the United States.

Customer Reviews
(disclosure- I am in charge of product selection and ecommerce at Energy Circle, but that means I test a lot of light bulbs)
I've heard many complaints about CFLs and their light quality since they were first introduced decades ago - they have harsh, greenish light some say, they flicker, they take too long to reach their full brightness - well not this CFL - it's what I use in my home and in the lamp at my desk, The GE Reveal CFLs provides crisp, sharp color without being harsh. Further, it doesn't give me a headache like many of the early CFLs and old school florecent overheads did. it even comes up to full brightness quickly and without flickering.
This really is a superior CFL, and provides better light quality than any of the incadecents I've replaced since moving into my current home. The GE Reveal CFLs are slightly more expensive than your standard CFL, but worth the relatively small price increase, plus compared with an incandecent you'll save the difference in a few months.
