Quick Overview

Heavy duty, two-part foam for indoor and outdoor air sealing projects, including around hot water and PVC pipes, crawl spaces and jacuzzis up to 240 degrees Fahrenheit.

Product Description

This heavy-duty, two-part, expanding foam can be used as both an air sealing product and an insulating material. This foam is ideally suited for blocking leaks along rim joints, gaps in framing, under crawl spaces and wall and floor/ceiling intersections. It cures at 3-5 times its output size (taking only 40 seconds to cure 90% and 2 minutes to a full cure), which makes it a perfect solution for areas that need a high volume of air sealing/insulation - under hot tubs and jacuzzis. This foam comes out with the consistency of oatmeal and will stick to just about any surface (including you - so be sure to wear appropriate gloves/protection). It is a closed-cell, water resistant foam, but will degrade with prolonged exposure to moisture - so if you need to use it outside (under a hot tub, for instance), make sure it's well sealed to avoid direct contact with water. Paint will provide UV resistance. Touch 'n Seal foams are all low-VOC and formaldehyde-free. This kit comes with a hose and dispenser assembly, and includes enough foam to cover 1.25 cubic feet or 15 board feet (a board foot is 12"x12"x1"). Plan ahead. If spray stops for more than 30 seconds, replace nozzle.

We Thought You'd Like To Know

Please read and follow directions for use and safety precautions. Please note that foam will expand even if it meets resistance. Do not spray into enclosed areas where damage could occur. Because the foam comes in a pressurized tank, UPS requires a $20.00 charge for shipping. This is built into our price.

Nitty Gritty

Don't even have to take it out of the box! Simple to use - just make sure you get all covered up. I still have a little yellow residue stuck to my thumbnail. Bummer that it only comes with two nozzles, just means you have to do your project all at once. Keep it moving, otherwise it hardens in the nozzle! The roller-trigger (for dispensing) works much better than I thought it would.
