Plug the Intermatic into any 3-prong outlet and then plug whatever you want into it (Air conditioners, heaters, lamps, etc.) and you can control when those appliances will and won't be on. The green tripper will set the appliances on and the red tripper will turn them off - a pattern you can orchestrate up to three times a day. A great way to keep your climate controlled or your house in order when you're absent, or just to make sure things turn off when your mind is absent.
