The Intermatic Outdoor timer is designed to stand up to the elements (-40 degrees Fahrenheight to 104 degrees Fahrenheigt, rain or shine). Just plug the Intermatic into any of your outdoor 3-prong outlets and then plug whatever you want into it (pool pumps or holiday lighting, for example) and you can control when those appliances will and won't be on. The green tripper will set the appliances on and the red tripper will turn them off - and you can orchestrate it all, up to twice a day. Plus, it comes with a 15 inch long power cord, for added extension. A great way to keep your pool's climate controlled or your house in order when you're absent, or just to make sure things turn off when your mind is absent.
