Quick Overview

Makes an old socket smart! This light sensor screws into any light socket, switches lights on at dusk, switches them off at dawn.

Product Description

Light when you need it, and no more all-day porch lights. The Intermatic light sensor knows when it's dark, and automatically lights up. At dawn, it switches off, giving your memory and your power a break. The light sensor simply screws into any exterior light socket. Screw in a compact fluorescent or LED, or even (gasp!) incandescent bulb. Either way, using the sensor saves electricity and costs because it lights only when it's dark. Why we think this is smart: Because it's an easy save. Just make sure you have room to accommodate the 6" length of the control. Screw the light sensor into the light socket, and screw a bulb or reflector bulb in place. Plays nicely with incandescent, CFL bulbs, reflectors and floods.
