Quick Overview

Look out appliances. The electricity cop is here. Simple smart electricity monitoring at your fingertips.

Product Description

Got an old refrigerator? Think that 42-inch HDTV is cool? How about the freezer in the garage? Plug them into the Kill A Watt EZ electricity monitor to see how much they're really costing you. Plug the Kill A Watt monitor into a wall socket, then plug the appliance into the monitor. The large LCD shows the kilowatt-hour consumption. The Kill A Watt monitor helps you know which appliances really suck up the power. It also helps identify which outlets are working properly. You can take it to the store to test energy efficiency in new computers and appliances. If you know your electric rate, plug that in and the monitor will show you the costs by the hour, day, week, month, or year.

From the infromation, I think it is visually compelling, interactive, engaging, and mobile, an application that communicates with your home and allows you to view, compare and analyze your electricity usage over time.
With an electricity usage display, the easy-to-use device can allow homeowners to track their home energy consumption over time and encourage them to reduce their energy use. So nice the product.

The product from i know. Unlike many energy usage devices in the market that only sense the usage of the entire home, our system breaks down its data collection by individual circuit, so it can give users a fine-grained understanding of where their electricity is going, like kitchen, air conditioners, furnaces and refrigerators.

quickest, easiest way to start figuring out what the energy hogs are and how much they're costing you. after you get one of these you'll probably want to get a whole house monitor as well, just to see waht it all adds up to, but this is a super simple starting place, awesome tool, saves money, easy to use, highly recommended.

I don't think it gets any easier than this! *plug* ... *plug* ... done! Checked out all of my wall-warts. What a great vampire detective. Saw that ConsumerReports video that says it's accurate, too. Found out I was paying $5/month for my stereo and cell charger vamps. No more! Thanks, guys!

What an eye opener! My kids love to test every plug-sporting appliance in the house! Toast is becoming an endangered species around here.
