Quick Overview
Soft, lasting light that saves you a bundle.
Product Description
Let there be light! In light bulb land, we talk "rated life", but it's not a philosophical thing. It's a lifespan thing. The MaxLite T5s have a rated life of 10,000 hours. Normal 120 watt incandescent bulbs only last from 750 - 1,000 hours. What's more, while regular bulbs use 120 watts, the T5s only draw 55 watts. And, to top it all off, the 4-pin, tri-phosphor circline fluorescence of the MaxLite casts "warm light" - Not the cold, blue-tinted flourescent light of offices and other institutions. Not to get too philosophical about it, but that's wise light. Very wise.
We Thought You'd Like To Know
The MaxLite T5 Circular is dimmable, and lasts about 10 times as long as its incandescent ancestor, while using 75% less wattage Please note: These light bulbs are ballast-specific, which means, unlike normal incandescent light bulbs, you can't plug any old wattage into a lamp to get more or less light. The 30 watt bulb has to go in a lamp designed for a 30 watt bulb - Like the Green Earth Barrington, for example. You can't plug in a 20 watt instead, even if you're hoping to get less light.
