Quick Overview

Panasonic technology takes mechanical ventilation and healthy indoor air to a higher, quieter level than ever, with flexibility for tight spaces where ceiling fans aren't possible.

Product Description

A properly ventilated home is a healthy home. We know that the little crack under the door doesn't really provide us with the ventilation we need. (Right?) In order to ensure that your home is as healthy and efficient as possible, it's necessary to mechanically ventilate. The Panasonic's WhisperWall through-the-wall ventilation fan provides quiet, efficient and effective ventilations for rooms in which a ceiling fan isn't possible. A beacon of efficiency, the WhisperWall uses only 18 watts of electricity, while moving 3.9 CFM (cubic feet per minute) per watt (70 CFM total), far exceeding Energy Star's standard. In order to make installation as easy as possible, adjustable duct and fan cut-out templates are included, as is an 8 inch diameter duct sleeve, which be adjusted to accommodate walls up to 10 inches thick. An outside vent hood with a built-in bird screen and foam seal back draft damper is also included. The grill is white, 10 1/8 inches square. The exterior hood will protrude 6 inches from the wall.

Nitty Gritty

Where can I see the Panasonic whisper wall fan FV-08WQ1 Posted by Joe Frankiewicz on Jul 20, 2012 10:24am

Whenever Panasonic picks up a new trick, they do it extremely well. Their fans are the best out there. They're quiet, high-powered, energy-efficient, you name it. I got the wall fan because there's not a lot of ceiling room out at the camp, this one fit good on the wall. I plan on putting these fans in every bathroom at the house too.
