Customer Reviews
I use cases of spray foam cans in my Home Performance Contracting business. I occasionally forget to get the next case of my favorite - Pur Foam 1G - ordered in time and run out. The local stores only stock other brands whose names go right out of my head because I don't like any of them, Touch n Seal being the most common one I find on the shelves.
But none of the others that I've tried compare with Pur Foam so I've decided to write this review. Pur Foam has a very small amount of swell, only noticeable if I fill a hole with a couple of inches of the stuff, but that also turns out to be the best thing about it. All the others I've tried end up shrinking slightly as they set, opening up gaps and holes which I then have to go back over and touch up.
Pur Foam seems to gap the least and has a bit better cohesiveness (sticks to itself better). And I like the color better; Touch n Seal is a dingy gray which just doesn't look professional.
No, I didn't get anything for this Pur Foam review and I have no financial interest...yada-yada. I just like the stuff.
