A water heater blanket will reduce heat loss by 25% or more, and therefore reduce water heating costs. It may also enable you to reduce your water temperature, without reducing the temperature at the tap. This water heater blanket is designed for use with gas, oil or electric water heaters with capacities up to 60 gallons. It is made of fiberglass insulation.  We carry two models:  one with an R-value of 5.0, and one with an R-value of 6.7.
