Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Energy Circle seeks a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join and support our sales & marketing team. The position will report directly to the Director of Business Development and will work closely with our Founder/CEO on the sale of Energy Circle Marketing Services and our advanced web technology platforms. Most day-to-day activities will revolve around managing and qualifying all inbound leads and maintaining our HubSpot CRM database and conducting thorough research and qualification of leads generated by those various marketing initiatives. Other responsibilities include supporting marketing initiatives on behalf of the agency. Target clients consist of all types of residential energy efficiency and renewable energy contracting companies across the U.S.


In this role, you will:

  • Qualify and track all inbound leads
  • Prospect and qualify outbound leads and deploy various marketing tactics for engagement
  • Reach out to prospective clients using phone, email and social media
  • Pursue qualified leads to set up evaluations with the sales team
  • Manage the HubSpot CRM lead pipeline and database, which includes analysis of prospective clients and potential opportunities
  • Build relationships with sales prospects and the internal EC team to grow new business
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for all of Energy Circle products and solutions
  • Provide support and execution of Energy Circle's outbound marketing initiatives including newsletter, email marketing, social media posting, and promotions
  • Support sales team in departmental administrative duties (e.g reporting, presentations, scheduling, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing departments to execute strategy
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future

You must have:

  • 1-2 years of experience within a sales or marketing team, preferably in professional services, SaaS, or software
  • Absolute fearlessness with respect to using the phone and client communications
  • Superior interpersonal communications skills
  • A data-focused, analytical thinker
  • Superb organizational and time efficiency skills
  • A sharp focus on your goals
  • Tons of drive, energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
  • Street smarts, emotional intelligence, and a powerful work ethic
  • Knowledge of HubSpot CRM, or an equivalent CRM database

We'd also appreciate:

  • Experience in sales or account management within the digital marketing field
  • Experience working with small contractors and an understanding of the challenges of that business
  • Experience in organic and paid social media, including Facebook and YouTube, and experience in email marketing.
  • A serious interest in Energy Circle's mission of driving improvement in the carbon footprint of the built environment by making contractors successful

Required Education:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree, or real-world equivalent experience
