Energy Circle Named One of the Best Places to Work in Maine

If you had asked many of us here at Energy Circle, we could have told you it was true—but now it is official: Energy Circle has been recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work in Maine."

The "Best Places to Work in Maine" initiative is a rigorous program that identifies, celebrates, and honors the most exemplary places of employment across the Pine Tree State. The Maine State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, in collaboration with Best Companies Group and BridgeTower Media, puts together a list of businesses small, large, and in-between that are the best employers in the state.

The selections are based on two different evaluations, each weighed differently toward the final decisions. There is a deep dive into a company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics, weighed at 25% of the overall evaluation. The more significant chunk, 75% of the assessment, is derived from an extensive, and elective, employee survey. This survey gauges the employee experience, capturing the essence of what it truly means to work at the nominated companies. The amalgamation of these scores then determines the crème de la crème of Maine's workplaces.
