Maurine is a Virginia native and attended school at the University of Virginia. As a student with many interests, she ultimately received a Bachelor of Arts in linguistics and American studies, with a minor in French language and literature. After her time at U.Va., she went on to complete a program in graphic design with concentrations in web design and photography. After completing her education, Maurine headed out to the ‘Silicon Slopes’ of Utah to start her career. She found her niche working as a content writer at an online marketing firm, where she created online content for companies in just about every industry you can name. Now, after a cross-country move, she puts her writing and content strategy skills to the test as a Digital Content Manager here at Energy Circle. When she’s not busy at work, Maurine spends her time developing creative cake recipes, practicing her hand at photography, and running her baking-turned-lifestyle blog. She lives in southern Maine with her husband, Nate.
